NCT 127 - Kpop Members Boy Group - Profiles and Biodata

SM Entertainment developed and manages NCT 127, the first fixed and second overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. On July 7, 2016, they debuted with the single "Firetruck" and a seven-member lineup: Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, and Haechan. NCT #127 (2016), their debut extended play, was a financial success upon release, earning them the title of Best New Group at many South Korean music awards ceremonies. Doyoung and Johnny joined the group in December 2016, ahead of their second EP Limitless (2017), while Jungwoo, the group's final member, joined in September 2018 for their first studio album Regular-Irregular (2018).

NCT 127 Fandom Name: NCTzen (meaning all the fans are citizens of NCT).

SM Rookies, a pre-debut training team founded by SM Entertainment, first unveiled all ten members of NCT 127. In 2007, Johnny was the first member to join the label through an American audition in Chicago, Illinois, followed by Yuta in Osaka, Japan, and Mark in Vancouver, Canada in 2012. Taeyong and Jaehyun were the first members to be revealed through SM Rookies after being cast by label employees and clearing tryouts in the same year. Despite having previously decided not to pursue an idol career, Taeil was the second member to join the label in 2013. Doyoung and Donghyuck joined the label in 2013, with Winwin joining on January 5, 2016 via SM Rookies and Jungwoo joining on April 17, 2017. 

On December 27, SM Entertainment revealed that their second extended play, Limitless, would be released in January 2017. The company then announced that additional members Johnny and Doyoung would join NCT 127, bringing the total number of members to nine. Doyoung had previously debuted with NCT U in April 2016. On January 4 and 5, 2017, the group debuted two versions of the eponymous lead song, one day before its digital release. The extended play was a commercial triumph, becoming their second Gaon Album Chart leader and their first Billboard World Albums Chart topper. 

NCT 127 released the single "Touch" on March 14, 2018, as part of NCT 2018 Empathy, a full-length studio album that gathered all active NCT units under the collective name NCT 2018. They released their Japanese debut EP Chain on Avex Trax on May 23. On the Oricon Albums Chart, it reached number two. It was confirmed in August 2018 that they would be included in the track "Let's Shut Up and Dance" as part of a global homage to Michael Jackson.

In September 2019, NCT 127 performed as special guests at the 2019 Global Citizen Festival in New York. Neo City: Seoul The Origin, the group's debut live album, was released on October 24. On November 3, they performed at the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville, Spain, becoming the first K-pop group to do so. They also performed at the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York on November 28, becoming the first Korean artist to do so, and at Today the following day.

The group began their US promotions with performances at the 2020 RodeoHouston in Houston on March 10, becoming the first K-pop group to perform at the annual event. They were set to embark on their second tour, Neo Zone – The Awards, in June 2020 in North America, but the tour was postponed indefinitely due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. The trip was announced to be canceled on May 15, 2020, owing to the pandemic.

NCT 127 were the fourth act in SM Entertainment's Beyond Live internet concert series to host an online concert on May 17. The ensemble performed live to audiences from 129 countries, selling over 104,000 virtual tickets.

On October 25, 2021, NCT 127 released the repackaged edition of Sticker, named Favorite, with with the lead track "Favorite (Vampire)." Pre-order sales for the repackage album were 1.06 million copies, with 1.1 million copies sold in the first week after its release. Sticker and Favorite has sold 3.58 million copies as of November 3, 2021, making it SM Entertainment's best-selling album.

NCT 127 officially announced on November 15 that their long-awaited global tour would begin next month in Seoul with a concert named "NCT 127 2nd Tour 'Neo City: Seoul – The Link'."


Taeil (태일) - NCT 127 Boys Kpop Group Profiles and Biodata

1. Moon Tae-il was born in Seoul, South Korea, on June 14, 1994. His mother, father, and younger sister make up his family. He wanted to be a zookeeper when he was younger, but after listening to Stevie Wonder, he decided to pursue a career as a singer. SM Entertainment talent scouts spotted. He is the main vocalist of the group. Taeil at the Youth Singing Contest in 2013. Taeil had been accepted into Hanyang University's Music Department at the time. He decided to enroll in college after a week of cautious consideration.

He soon changed his mind and decided to pursue a career as a vocalist. During his tenure as a trainee and SMROOKIES member, Taeil worked on a variety of SM Entertainment productions. Along with his now-NCT co-members, he performed at the opening performance of the SMTOWN WEEK concert in December 2013. He sang "The Last Game" by Kim Mingyo for EXO's variety show "EXO 90:2014" in October 2014. On April 9, 2016, Taeil was confirmed as a member of NCT's first sub-unit, NCT U, and made his debut with NCT U's digital single "Without You."

Taeil was confirmed as a member of NCT's second sub-unit on July 1, 2016. Taeil doesn’t do much skinship but he does it a lot with Winwin. He likes eating Pork Belly, Ice Cream, Pizza, Chicken and Meat.

2. Lee Tae-yong, also known as Taeyong, is a South Korean rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter who was born on July 1, 1995, in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. He is NCT and NCT 127's center, primary rapper, main dancer, and leader. He is also a member of NCT U and made his debut in the K-pop supergroup SuperM in 2019.

He has a younger sibling. His strengths are his confidence, niceness, and concern for other members, but his weaknesses are his perfectionist tendencies and constant nagging. He enjoys listening to music, watching movies, playing video games, and dining out. Pink is his favorite color. Taeyong wanted to be a firefighter before joining SM Entertainment. Mark claims that Taeyong is a fantastic cook.

He claims that the meals he prepares are as lovely as those served in restaurants. According to "Idol Room," Taeyong is ranked #3 in physical strength among NCT 127 members. Taeyong worked as a guest DJ on the radio show "NCT Night Night."

3. Yuta (Nakamoto Yuta) is a Japanese singer, rapper, and dancer who was born on October 26, 1995 in Kadoma, Osaka. He is one of two Japanese members in NCT and is the principal dancer, sub-vocalist, and sub-rapper of NCT 127 and NCT U.

Guardian of Takoyaki, Osaka Prince, Takoyaki Prince, and Yakisoba Prince are some of his nicknames. Watermelon, Bento, Takoyaki, Tteokbokki, Crab meat fried rice, Green tea cake are some of his favorite foods. He enjoys playing soccer and socializing with his buddies. In Japan, Yuta passed the global audition. If Winwin does not watch anime with him, Yuta becomes depressed. When Yuta gets up, the first thing he does is brush his teeth.

Yuta sleeps without a pillow. Reading comic books, working out, watching films, and reading comments about how attractive he is are among his interests. Yuta was a part of the cast of the JTBC show "Abnormal Summit," where he represented Japan.

4. Jeong Yun-o, often known as Jaehyun or Jay, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, and rapper who was born on February 14, 1997 in Seoul. He is a member of NCT U's main vocalists and lead dancers, as well as NCT 127's main vocalist, lead dancer, and sub rapper. Casper, J, and WooJae (short for uri Jaehyun) are his nicknames. Rap, piano, and basketball are his specialties.

5. Mark Lee, also known as Mark, is a Korean-Canadian rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter who was born on August 2, 1999 in Toronto, Ontario. NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and SuperM have him as their main rapper, dancer, and sub-vocalist. He has a younger sibling.

On February 7, 2018, he graduated from Eonju Middle School, School of Performing Arts Seoul. Bagels, Cookies and Cream Ice Cream, Chicken, Kimchi, Rice, Watermelon, Jajangmyeon, Cookies, Chips, Bread, and Chocolate are among his favorite foods. Beyonce, Coldplay, Chris Brown, SHINee's Minho, and EXO's Xiumin are among his favorite artists.

6. Lee Dong-hyuck, better known by his stage name Haechan, is a South Korean singer and dancer who was born in Seoul on June 6, 2000. His family then moved to Jeju Island, where he grew up before becoming a trainee. He's the principal singer and dancer for NCT 127, NCT Dream, and NCT U.

He received his education at the Seoul School of Performing Arts. He enjoys dancing and football. Dongsookie is his nickname. In third grade, Haechan's academy teacher gave him the English name "Peter." Playing the piano, listening to music, and singing are some of his favorite pastimes.

Music is his favorite subject in school, whereas Science is his least favorite. He aspires to be a songwriter and singer. He is the only one who is likely to pick up the phone. Haechan is a big skinshipper.

7. John Suh, better known by his stage name Johnny, is a Korean-American singer and rapper who was born on February 9, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois. He is a rapper and sub-vocalist for NCT 127 and NCT U. In September 2007, I was accepted into SM Entertainment through the SM Global Audition in Chicago. Everybody's Oppa, "One and Only" (which he coined), and Johnny-cal are his nicknames.

He went to Glennbrook North High School and the School of Performing Arts in Seoul. He is a piano player. He enjoys reading, watching movies and videos, and taking photographs. Johnny is obsessed with lovely things. He's unsteady. He collides with objects and trips on stairs.

Coldplay is his favorite band. Johnny expresses his gratitude whenever Doyoung prepares a meal for him. In the NCT 127 group chat, Johnny sends the most messages, but Mark usually responds because his jokes aren't as humorous in Korean.

8. Kim Dong-young is a South Korean singer who was born on February 1, 1996 in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do. He is the lead singer for NCT U and NCT 127. He has a younger sibling. 9. Kim Jung-woo is a South Korean singer and dancer who was born on February 19, 1998 in Sanbon-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do and grew up in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do. He is the lead vocalist and dancer for NCT U, as well as the lead vocalist and dancer for NCT 127. He had been training for nearly three years.

He became a member of SM after auditioning regularly. Gimpo Jeil Technical High School was his alma mater. As a new S.M., he was introduced. On April 18, 2017, Rookies was released. In Super Junior Yesung's return MV, "Paper Umbrella," he made his first public appearance. He is set to make his debut in NCT on January 30, 2018.

He will also make his debut in NCT 127, which was revealed on September 16, 2018. Jungwoos/Juwoos, Snoopy (because he likes Snoopy), and Zeus are his nicknames (wordplay to his Korean nickname). He eats a lot and enjoys large servings. Justin Bieber's "All In It" was the song that inspired him to pursue a career as an artist.

He'd like to swap bodies with Ten because he's so attractive. Jungwoo revealed in August 2019 that he will be taking a break owing to health difficulties. He will return to the group after a vacation on January 25, 2020, according to reports.
